Have you seen this so-called work of art that is going to be displayed soon in New York?

" On his 100th day in office, President Obama will be “crowned” in messianic imagery at New York City’s Union Square.

Artist Michael D’Antuono’s painting “The Truth” – featuring Obama with his arms outstretched and wearing a crown of thorns upon his head – will be unveiled on April 29 at the Square’s South Plaza.

According to a statement released about the portrait, “The 30″ x 54″ acrylic painting on canvas depicts President Obama appearing much like Jesus Christ on the Cross: atop his head, a crown of thorns; behind him, the dark veil being lifted (or lowered) on the Presidential Seal. But is he revealing or concealing, and is he being crucified or glorified?”

Even the title of the piece, “The Truth,” suggests a play on biblical themes, as Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”"

What an insult to all Christians.

There has been a lot of questions about "plan b".

Part of the reason it works is that it stops implantation of the fertilized egg.

But if given early, a lot of docs think that it stops ovulation. Sperm could impregnate an egg that comes out hours after sex. So if you give it early, to stop ovulation, one could justify the prevention of fetal implantation as a "double effect".

I find two problems however. One: if you are pregnant already, it can hurt the fetus. We can check pregnancy tests, but if you are one or two weeks pregnant, it could harm your baby.

Two: A lot of "rapes" are merely date sex, and three of four days later the women come in. it doesn't work then. Also as a "morning after" pill, a lot of women just don't take them in time. So I never gave the pill to these women, who were essentially seeking an abortion.

But for a badly harmed hysterical woman, who was not pregnant, giving a pill that stops a tiny risk (1-2%) of pregnancy, half of which are prevented by the contraceptive effects, seems to be the way to go.
