I tell you ten years ago my results would have been a lot less favorable--- even so I am still sweating it --- or as St. Paul says working out my salvation in fear and trembling---- whoooo boy!

I figured lots of people would be interested in what a 10 million dollar bra would look like--- Starts with a 70 carat diamond in the center--- then lots of gold and sparkle
Could this possibly be one reason the West is so hated? That bra could probably feed an impoverished third world country--- my personal opinion--- it looks more like an expensive torture device then a garment to support mammary glands!

Also in the news today--- apparently magma has made it to the surface on Mt. St. Helens. . Scientists still consider the volcano dangerous and say it is possible there may yet be an "explosive event" so of course, just like the guy that runs out into his back yard with a video camera as the tornado is bearing down on his house--- there are a few hundred civilians camped out around Mt. St. Helens just waiting for it to blow---video cameras in hand.

Finally I came across these related reports--- I just want to remind everyone how the ADL in this country was ranting and raving just prior to the release of Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ". They were telling everybody that this movie will incite attacks on Jews and a resergence of anti-semitism--- of course none of that ever happened--- In the months since not one report of attacks on Jewish citizens related to the movie occurred (or at least was not reported) ANYWHERE the movie was shown. Also there has been absolutely no indication of any increase in anti-semitism related to the movie either. I am not Jew bashing here---anyone who has read my blog for a while knows that I spent ten years of my life as a Jew, my children were raised in the Jewish faith (their father is Jewish) and I have many friends and ex-in-laws whom I love dearly who are Jewish--- I do see Jews as ancestors and brothers in faith--- A pope, whose name escapes me at the moment---said we Christians are "spiritual semites"---- this is true. But---I point out some hypocrisy here--- Hypocrisy on the part of some Jewish leaders as well as the media---as I stated they were all over the Mel Gibson movie---for MONTHS--- condemning it even before anyone saw it---so I find the silence, particularly in the major media, on these two issues very interesting---Catholic hospitals and dying patients hunted by Israeli tax collectorsand then this article---at least in this second article Interior Minister Avraham Poraz IS standing up and speaking out against his countrymen who are engaging in this activity---Bravo to him! Poraz 'repulsed' by cases of Jews spitting on Christians

Too long---

Since I blogged last. I have had a hard time sitting down at the keyboard and organizing my thoughts. So many things going on--- I think I just needed a break from the political stuff for a while. Boy was I getting worked up over some of it. I will be glad when the election is over with. I am so disappointed with the media coverage--- I cannot stand to watch anything but Fox news now--- the mainstream media has lost every shred of credibility--- they are useless. Might as well just admit what they truly are--- mouth pieces for the Democratic party--- give up the charade of being supposedly objective reporters of the news. Anyway--- moving on---

Some observations from our weekend ride. Three counties in Northern Illinois that we traveled there were about 5 Bush-Cheney signs to every Kerry-Edwards sign--- this is interesting considering Illinois is one of the most "democratic" states around. The other interesting fact is that I did not see one Kerry-Edwards sign that was defaced but I saw several Bush-Cheney signs that were--- telling commentary on the force behind Kerry---seems his supporters are fueled by hatred of George Bush more then anything else--- scary prospect to consider that the motivating factor behind many Kerry supporters has little to do with the issues and more to do with hatred towards George Bush. In fact just over the border in Wisconsin there have been several home owners who have had swastikas burned into their front lawns because they had Bush-Cheney signs in their front yards--- strange times we live in.

And finally--- as testament to the tolerance of the Democratic presidential candidate--- Click here to read about how a group of seminarians were thrown out of the debate Friday night --even though they had tickets-- as a "security threat" to Sen. Kerry--- me thinks the threat was only to the veneer of Catholicism Sen. Kerry wears for the purpose of attempting to garner Catholic votes (at which he is failing--- since the end of May Kerry has lost 22 percentage points among Catholic voters)--- apparently the supposedly"Catholic" candidate is threatened by the presence of Catholic clergy--- yet went on that night to proclaim how important his faith is to him--- how he was an altar boy--- raised with strong faith--- excuse me as I choke on the hypocrisy of it all!
